American Hotel's Chef Moves to Southhampton

Peter Dunlop the great chef from Sag Harbor's American Hotel is taking over the restaurant OSO at Southampton Inn. Rumour has it that the prices will be reasonable, including a prix fixe menu and hold your horses, a children's menu. I bet the food is delicious and reasonable will depend on your point of view. But the kicker is if the kids don't like their menu they can order off the main menu at half price. So lets all go for the kids birthday party.

SOUTHAMPTON GOES TO GREENPORT!!!???

myhamptons mag has heard a rumour that Nello of Nello's Summertime in Southampton has bought a building or two in Greenport and is planning on opening a hotel and restaurant. While we don't know where the buildings are that he bought we do know that the building next to the movie theater was on the market and one or two B&B's are for sale. We'll do a little research and try to flesh out the rumour. The mag can't imagine how he'll open for this summer so if its true we might have to wait til 2009 to see the change.
